Message Went to install my Powertrix Coilovers but the rear lower strut mount bolt was basically frozen. Had to use a 1/2" breaker bar with a cheater bar. My electric impact wouldn't break it loose even with PB. The breaker bar caused the shock to flex a touch and the passenger side shot out oil. The driver side just leaked a second or two of gas, but no oil.

They were still in excellent condition ride wise, but I'm afraid now if I decided against the CO's to re-install that they are not any good now. Did it just mean that the seals were old and the small amount of flex let out the oil?

I'm on the fence right now with the 7K/5K being to stiff. I'm still using all factory components with camber plates to go in if I decide I like them.
